Battlefield Success Demands Technological Superiority, Not Just LSCO Focus

The comment is myopic as Ukraine is involved in a LSCO (which is limited not full scale) and this is not the only kind of conflict that is fought. The US most recently wrapped up counter terrorism, counter insurgency (FID and UW) and policing operations. It also has conducted FON, disaster response, DSCA, humanitarian, show of force, and SASO amongst others. A lot of pretty good weapons are not going to cut it, ask all the crushed empires or losers of wars passed how that worked out for them. The superior military won in just about every case. What the industry should have said is technological superiority is the key to battlefield success and in order to achieve this the support of the people, the scaling up of one’s defense industry, and the pace of innovation matters most.
