First Panel moderated by Paul Becker. The Panel was made up of Kensey McFadden (Pacific Engagement Specialist, HIT Methods), Tolumaagave Leroy Harris (CEO HIT Methods), Kalani Souza, Dr Karl Kim (Prof of Urban & Regional Planning at UH), Dr Failautusi ‘Tusi’ Avegalio, Norma Alofa Su’a Owens (Advocate for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians & Pacific Islanders, and Faith Akovi Cooper (Regional Dir US Southern Border Resettlement, Asylum & Integration). The Panel sought to discuss Theme 3: Humanitarian Aid & Disaster Relief on Topic 1: Using Emergency Technology to find solutions for supporting humanitarian aid & disaster relief/recovery.

Second panel moderated by Bernice Glenn Kissinger. The Panel was made up of Kyle Stice (Executive Director – Pacific Farmers Organization), Ed Sun (CEO Sun Global Broadband), Terrance Bush (General Partner of Wave Data), Ramsey Taum (Director Pacific Islands Leadership Institute), and West Stringfellow (CEO of Howdo). The Panel sought to discuss topic 1 “Driving New Insights & Knowledge in Complex Pacific Distributed Environment”. Their objective was to provide recommendations for how technology could be utilized to advance the Pacific Island community.
